A reporter asked a worker, "What are you doing?"
The worker complained, "I'm a virtual slave, and underpaid bricklayer who spends my days wasting time placing breaks one on top of the other."
The reporter asked a second worker the same question. The response, however, was different.
"I am the luckiest man in the world. I get to be a part of an important and beautiful architecture. I help turn simple pieces of brick into an exquisite masterpiece."
The truth is, what we see in life is what we want to see. If you look for the extraordinary in the ordinary you can train yourself to see it. There is so much to be grateful for, and life would take on a whole new meaning.
So, look for the extraordinary in the ordinary.
