January is National Hot Tea Month, so I wanted to celebrate it by sharing with you how I trimmed my tummy and healed my heart at the same time.
I've always been a tea drinker, but I was never into those fancy tea. I'm a very picky eater and drinker and have always refused to try new things.
But in 2014, I began having heart issues and decided that I did not want to die in my 30s, so I chose that year to take control of my health and life. I began doing research on bettering my health as far as what types of food to eat and not to eat, what type of exercises were good for my heart, etc. I then stumbled across a book titled All About Green Tea and read about the medical benefits of it.
I was sold.
I decided to try it and bought Lipton Green Tea. This drink, combined with my exercising 3 times a week caused the weight in my midsection to fall off (green tea increases metabolism), caused my blood pressure to come down (green tea widen my arteries so that my heart did not have to work so hard to let the blood flow through), and caused my heart to began to heal itself (green tea is full of antioxidants).
